Every Thing Covered
October 1 -3 at Camp Agnes Arnold

Every Thing Covered (ETC) is a great event to experience fun, while learning with all levels of Girl Scouts from all parts of the Council. You may choose to fill your weekend with a wide variety of workshops, or simply hibernate and relax with your friends. Other opportunities include free-time craft, campfire, swap exchange, evening program, “Squash the Myths” (an informal session Saturday evening to chat with other leaders about program level issues) and much more!

How to Register:

  • Choose your favorite from each session.
  • Indicate 1st, 2nd choices
  • Placement in workshops will be on a first come basis
  • Only one person per registration form
  • Registration deadline is SEPTEMBER 24

Cost:

  • Event Fee $16
  • Meals (paid for separately - see registration form)

Extra Tip:

  • If more than one adult is attending from your troop, consider taking different workshops so you can benefit from more program ideas.

Brownie Program Leadership
Learn about working with Brownie-age girls, the Brownie Ring (troop government), try-its, and other program activities. Required for Brownie Girl Scout leadership and beneficial for other interested adults as well.
Prerequisite: Basic Leadership Training

Junior Program Leadership
Explore characteristics of the 9- to11-year-old girl, learn about the patrol system, become familiar with the Junior earned awards and discuss other fun program activities for your Junior Girl Scout troop. Required for leaders of Junior-age girls.

Teen Advisor
Learn what your role is as an advisor to girls who are 11-to 17-years old. Gain insight into how girls this age think, what they like to do, how to help them set and reach goals, and when to step back so girls can develop leadership skills. Discover ways to become teen savvy, how to talk to girls about the 3T’s (Touchy Teen Topics), and maintain confidentiality with troop/group members, plus much more. Fulfills the requirement for Cadette, Senior, and STUDIO 2B advisors.

No previous experience necessary. Learn easy ways to cook at camp, state parks, day camp, and in your backyard. Take home recipes for your troop.

All new! Learn quick and easy program activities to pull from your “pocket” when an idea is needed fast. A kit of program cards is provided.

Songs - Silly & Serious
Learn old favorite nonsensical songs for your troop or day camp program. Also teaches the quieter, serious songs which are the heart of Girl Scout ceremonies.

Thank You Craft Ideas
Discover ingenious ways to say “thank you” with crafts and small tokens. For service unit, interest group, parents and troop adult recognitions. The training also includes a display full of additional ideas.

What Do You Really Want?
Goals are the difference between wishful thinking and making things happen. This training is designed to give advisors a step by step approach to helping girls discover their interests, determine if they are dreaming “big enough,” set short- and long-range goals, develop a plan of action and finally reach their goals.
