2004 Cookie Sale

Boost your cookie sales
by Julie Sykes

Looking for ways to boost your cookie sales and make delivery easier? How about ‘Making a Splash’ with a cookie caravan. A cookie caravan is something that the whole troop can participate in, both parents and girls. Once you have picked a date and certain streets in a neighborhood, you can post that date on the street corners and in grocery stores to let the community know you will be out selling during that time. Then, load up your girls, parents, and cookies and parade through the neighborhood selling door to door. You can even decorate your vehicles in order to draw attention. Other ways to boost your sale are to participate in Cookie Shops and to help the girls set goals. Goals are a good way to get the girls motivated to participate in the sale.

You can make delivery easier and quicker with the use of door hangers. These can be put on the door telling your customer which day you will be on their street delivering. They can also be used when a customer is not at home. You can let them know what day you will be returning and how much they have purchased. This way they will be home and have their money ready for you and make your delivery easier.
