Girl Scout Scrapbook

Topnocs Service Unit held a Family Fun Day in April. They had a cake walk, lollipop tree, and bingo. The clowns at right are Jessica H. of Troop #8284 and her friend Cody. Above, Troop #8413 painted faces of the girls


Troops #10007 and #10049 collected items for a women who had lost everything in her office in a fire.

Megan T., Hannah J., Samantha M., Sarah J., Amanda M.s, and Michal W. were on the girl planning board for the Goose Creek Service Unit Father/Daughter Event.

 

 

As part of a service project, Troop #4473 collected nonperishable food from each food group to make a dinner. The Brownies also included two toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss. Each Brownie then wrote a note to President Bush on how to end world hunger. The girls received a response from the White House.


Troop #11055 presented a revitalized school garden to Principal Mrs. Nardon and Assistant Principal Mrs. Alloway. The troop did this project as part of the Bronze Award. Besides planting all new flowers, they made and painted two bird houses, made a tiled bench, and made two bird baths.

Troop #10022 participated in the school paper drive. They were using resources wisely.

 

 


Troop #10022 went camping at Camp Whispering Pines. They took a train ride from Rusk to Palestine and back. This was the first time on a train for many of the girls.
