Girl Scout Scrapbook


Daisy Troop #12214 had an investiture ceremony in April. They had a reception and Easter Egg Hunt. Troop Leaders are Hilda Besa, Shannon King, and Maria Cruz. The troop thanks Djuana and Kenneth Malota for their wonderful decorating skills.


Troop #3495 made Barbie pillows.


Troop #5203 used its cookie money for an overnight on Battleship Texas. The girls were fascinated by the history and had a great time sleeping in the bunks.

 

 

 

 

Troop #5633 enjoyed participating in a Cypress Trails STRIDERS event.

Troop #12024 worked on the Watching Wildlife Try-it at the Edith Moore Bird Sanctuary.

 

 

Troop #12328 earned the Adventure Sports Badge while camping and rock climbing at
Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

 

Troop #18001 spent Saturday at the Museum of Printing History learning about printing press, graphic design, printing and rubbing techniques and the history of printing machines. They had a fantastic time while earning the Prints and Graphics Badge.

Troop #7289 enjoyed a weekend of camping at Camp Agnes Arnold. They hiked, did crafts, and relaxed. This was their first time to stay in tents.

 

 

Troop #5652 has provided Easter baskets for Cypress Assistance Ministries since the troop started eight years ago. This year they provided baskets for 46 adults and two children. In addition to candy, the baskets included canned fruit, tea, coffee, note pads, pens, and other useful items. A local dentist has provided toothbrushes and toothpaste for the baskets for the last two years. Troops #5028, #5225, #5670, #5749, #5902, and #14051 made donations to help fill the baskets and Troop #5902 helped decorated and fill half of the bags as part of the Bridging to Cadette requirements.
