Girl Scout Scrapbook


Junior Troop #5134 of Splendora enjoys its end-of-the-year troop party at Gattitown USA. The girls choose to use their Girl Scout cookie bonus to fund the party. The girls took a picture with their leaders’ favorite television stars.

Troop #11119 attended “Don’t Let the Bed Bugs Bite” Klein Country Service Unit Weekend in May. Girls swam, canoed, made crafts, sang songs, played games, made s’mores, learned archery, and found out about different bugs. Pictured are: Kasey, Cassie, Megan, Kylie, Marie, Bailee, Karen, Claire, Valerie, Jessica, Zoe, Nicole, Kristen, Lauren Maggie, Lexi, and Life Guard Cindy.


Carla F., Elizabeth B., Aieliaria A., Christian G., and Monica V. from Troop #24000 participated in their first-ever Cookie Shop. The girls had a successful sale. The troop visited Moody Gardens on Girl Scout night. Girls went to an IMAX movie about underwater sea life, rode a ride, and went to the aquarium. They really enjoyed seeing all the different animals at the rain forest. Troop #11119 visited the Burke Baker Planetarium, Cockrell Butterfly Center, and saw “The Living Sea” at the IMAX at The Houston Museum of Natural Science.
