April 2004 Volume 30 Issue 4

Service unit administrators, before you delegate your first job or schedule
your first meeting, sign up for Ready, Set, Go!

Hats off to You! You are to be congratulated! You have been appointed to one of the most respected volunteer positions in the Council, that of service unit administrator. Suddenly, you are a member of a management team. Service unit administrators wear many hats: coach, team leader, cheerleader, supervisor, sounding board, mediator, planner, and motivator. The following trainings will address specific areas that are essential to managing a service unit. You will gain ideas and tools to effectively “wear” all those hats.

Who should attend?

All new service unit administrators and those who are new to the service unit administrative team should attend. Start your administrative team on the right track by having the entire team attend the Ready! (Service Unit Orientation) training together. All service unit administrators must attend Ready! Set! Go! and Tools for Success.
Find the dates and locations convenient for you and your team and sign up today!
Training dates and time for Tools for Success will be in the April issue of The Golden Link.
