Juliette groups should be formed prior to the event and register as such. Non-competitive participants may purchase tickets at the door.

Non-Competitive Activities

ALL THINGS GREAT & SMALL: Show off girl collections relating to match and science. Limited to natural objects such as shells, mounted insects, rocks, etc. Must be labeled with collector’s name and troop number.

TROOP/GROUP BOOTHS: Booths are for everyone, Daisies through Seniors. Troops/groups are invited to reserve a booth to share a special activity they enjoy in the math and science field. Ideas can be found on the Internet, handbooks, libraries, and museums. Do activities in your troop and then decide on one to share in your booth. Booths will be 10’ by 10’ with draping on the sides and back. One 6’ table and 2 chairs will be provided. There are no electrical outlets. The booth should be staffed by 2 girls and 1 adult at all times. You can change personnel, so that all will have an opportunity to participate in other activities. Troops/groups desiring booth space must register. Booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis due to space limitations. All booth participants will receive an exhibitors ribbon to wear. Those who desire a booth for only half of the day may “buddy up” with another troop from their service unit. Buddy registrations must be sent in together.
Booth ideas: Number Games, Magnets, Cloud Formations, Different Smells, Balancing Problems, Guessing Games, Illusions, Weather, Fun with Numbers, Career ideas and anything else that your imagination can come up with.
Special Booths will be set aside for girls to earn try-it and badge requirements as well as older girl interest project patches.
Additional instructions for booths will be included in your registration packet.

Celebrate the end of the school year with a giant weekend around
GEMS. Save your cookie and end-of-the-year money and get a hotel room
and experience riding the Metro light rail train and stopping along the way as you explore downtown. Troops might want to visit the Aquarium, restaurants, museums, etc.
This could be your a troop’s end-of-the-year party ending with a really
fun weekend. Watch for more details in an upcoming Golden Link.
