

Cadette Troop #8138 spent an informative weekend in Corpus Christi.
They went to Texas State Aquarium and were treated to a special
dive show, behind the scenes tour, a scavenger hunt, and pizza dinner.
That night they slept "undersea" in the Islands of Steel
exhibit area. The next morning they visited the USS Lexington
and the Museum of Science and History. The next day they rode horses
on Padre Island and camped out on the National Seashore where they
performed a beach clean up service project.

Troops #7010 and #7103 started the new year off with a pool party,
along with earning the Swimming Badge.

#3354 learned fire safety from Captain Colette at Station 102 in
Kingwood.

of Troop #1640 started last year off great selling an
average of 99 Fall Products Sale items per girl. They
continued their success selling 300 cases of Girl Scout
Cookies. Sarah Brown sold 3,004 packages of cookies and
received the Council High Seller recognition. Sarah also
completed the Gold Award by obtaining furnishings for
a two-bedroom apartment for Project Joy and Hope for Texas.
This year she completed 12 years of Girl Scouting with
Troop #1640. |

Troop #4018 went to Sea World for its end-of-the year trip. They
used their troop cookie bonus money. They troop held a bridging
ceremony at the Imperial Point Clu bhouse. The theme was "Becoming
Beautiful Butterflies." They had a fashion show and favorite
food banquet.
