Junior Troop #2405 slept overnight at the Children's Museum of New Braunfels on a summer trip. Girls completed activities for several badges. The next day the troop swam at Shlitterbahn before heading back to Houston.

Troop #11178 made stuffed bears then enjoyed a lunch, carousel rides, and ice cream at Memorial City Mall. This field trip was in recognition of the troop's hard work on the 2003 Cookie Sale.

Troop #4434 went to Sea World and the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The girls had saved their cookie bonus money for two years for this trip.

Cadette Troop #1234 spent the summer enjoying the sun and water at Splashtown. They used cookie bonus money to purchase season passes.

Troop #1633 began its Bronze Award Project assisting First United Methodist Church in becoming a Red Cross emergency shelter. The girls made posters, manned volunteer recruitment booths, planned "rainy day" children's activities, and collected things for personal toiletry kits. When the Red Cross shelter plans fell through, the troop adapted readily and donated the 108 toiletry kits to the Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Members of Yorkshire Academy's Troop #12172 worked on the Theater Badge in September. Girls learned about stage makeup and then made each other up as goblins, elves, and spiders in preparation for their trip to see Playhouse 1960s production of The Hobbit, featuring their Girl Scout sister Rachael S.
