the program. Becoming a trainer filled a void. It gave her that opportunity to realize her dream of being a teacher. "I get more than I give. I would not have believed that I would be able to do this. I grew up stuttering and now I can stand up in front of people. Training has been a stepping-stone for me. It gave me the confidence I needed. Now I present workshops for corporations."

She is a Girl Scout. "I love to train camping skills. As a girl, we camped twice a year. Now I can go as often as I want! This is who I am, not what I do."

Trainers come from every area of the Council, from Nacogdoches to Clear Lake. Some of them grew up in the program; many came to Girl Scouting when their daughters joined. They have a million reasons for giving their time, but the end result is the same. Our trainers provide adults with the tools they need to help each girl reach her full individual potential. "It was part of the prenuptial agreement. She wouldn't let me cut the cake until I signed! I love the outdoors and I like meeting different people."

She is a Girl Scout. She has no daughters. She raised a

Boy Scout. But she has been a Girl Scout since she joined as a Brownie. "I had so much fun as a kid. I like sharing neat stuff, I like people and I get pumped when I can get good program to the kids."

She is a Girl Scout. She was a leader for both of her daughters. She began training because, "Someone asked me. A trainer friend said that she thought I would be a good trainer, so I applied. I fell in love with it. It gave me a lot of satisfaction to help new leaders get started. I wanted them to enjoy being a leader as much as I did."

He is a Girl Scout and a Do-Dad. His daughter's co-leader talked him into becoming a trainer. He loves the outdoors and enjoys training leaders. He is also a national delegate.

She is a Girl Scout. She wanted to be a teacher but married young and did not go to college. Growing up in Girl Scouting gave her a passion for
